It’s my all-time favorite Christmas story (that’s not in the Bible!). A Christmas Carol is full of unforgettable characters in amazing situations that makes you laugh, cry and puts Christmas into perspective. One of the most memorable lines to me is this one:
‘Men’s courses will foreshadow certain ends, to which, if persevered in, they must lead,’ said Scrooge. ‘But if the courses be departed from, the ends will change. Say it is thus with what you show me!’
