Okay, fellow travelers, this morning (before lunch no less) we drove up the highway to see the sights.  And what sights we saw!  It’s amazing how many waterfalls there are in Oregon; it’s like every few feet you look up and there’s another one.  Pictured below is Latourell Falls. I know it looks like a French word, but the Americans have butchered it and they pronounce it “Lateral” Falls.  The locals will look at you funny if you pronounce it properly.

Underneath the Lateral Falls pictures are some snaps of the Vista House.  What an incredible this place is.  It is most definitely worth the trip; 360 degrees of spectacular scenery.   Click on the link and read about the history of Vista House; its story is fascinating.
