I’d like to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas! This time of year, we pause to reflect on the greatest miracle of all: the Incarnation of the Son of God; the day God became man to save man from his sins. Without our Lord and Savior, there would be no Christmas.
In the hustle and bustle of whatever your Christmas activities are, please make sure you take time to honor the One whose birthday you are celebrating. Christmas is all about Jesus, not us. Pray together, say grace before you eat, stop arguing and bickering, go to church, and “praise God from Whom all blessings flow.”
And for those you fortunate enough to be with your families this year, make sure you make the most of the time you have together.
Here is one beautiful song from the great Bobby Darrin, who left us far too early. I send this out to my Mom and Dad. I wish we could all be together this Christmas, but you know you are always in my heart. Merry Christmas you two; we love you! Stay warm up there…
We sing His praise, this Day of Days, And pray next year this time, We’ll all be near to share the cheer, Of a Christmas auld lang syne.
In sweet accord, we thank the Lord For a Christmas auld lang syne.
